رب اجعلني مقيم الصلاة

رَبِّ أَوْزِعْنِي أَنْ أَشْكُرَ نِعْمَتَكَ الَّتِي أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى وَالِدَيَّ وَأَنْ أَعْمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرْضَاهُ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي فِي ذُرِّيَّتِي إِنِّي تُبْتُ إِلَيْكَ وَإِنِّي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ

My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and to do righteousness of which You approve, and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims.

رَبَّنَا وَاجْعَلْنَا مُسْلِمَيْنِ لَكَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِنَا أُمَّةً مُّسْلِمَةً لَّكَ وَأَرِنَا مَنَاسِكَنَا وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ

Our Lord, make us Muslims [in submission] to You and from our descendants a Muslim nation [in submission] to You. And show us our rites and accept our repentance. Indeed, You are the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful.

أَفضَلُ هَديَّةٍ تُقَدِّمُها لِأَبنائِكَ هِيَ القُدوَةُ الصّالِحَةُ، فَالكَلِمَةُ تُنسى وَالفِعلُ يُحفَظُ، وَتَربِيَةُ القَلبِ عَلى مَحَبَّةِ اللهِ أَبقى مِن كُلِّ عَطاءٍ.

The best gift you can give your children is a righteous example — words are forgotten but actions are remembered, and instilling love of Allah in their hearts outlasts every material gift.

اللَّهُمَّ احْفَظْ أَبْنَائِي مِنْ كُلِّ سُوءٍ، وَاجْعَلْهُمْ قُرَّةَ عَيْنٍ لِي، وَأَصْلِحْهُمْ فِي دِينِهِمْ وَدُنْيَاهُمْ، وَتَوَلَّهُمْ بِرِعَايَتِكَ حَيْثُ كَانُوا.

O Allah, protect my children from all harm, make them a comfort to my eyes, set right their religion and worldly affairs, and watch over them wherever they may be.
